The Power of Attraction

The entire Nature is suffused with power of attraction. The world attracts one and all. This power of attraction originates from the changeless and eternal principle of Truth, which is the basis of creation. This is known as Transcendental Truth. It is present in trikālas, trilokas and triguñas (three periods of time, three worlds and three attributes). It is only one and not two.
Baba

If we have to tell something about the ‘one’ and only one, maybe it feels first like, what to tell?
How do I experience it in my life? It is a matter of experience and insights if we know how to understand it or not. On the level of the senses it doesn’t make sense. We look through our eyes at the world and what we see is that everything changes and we know from science that everything is relative.
We open our eyes and see only differences. It is a universe of multiplicity and diversity, not one person is the same as the other and we think it is amazing that there are that many different characters and bodies and such an endless variety.
So how do we understand the principle of oneness seen out of Veda and the teaching of Baba.
It was in the air during a Darshan in Ooty and it said, ‘I am that’.

We know if we meditate with Soham it is about the breath. The breath has to do with energy, Prana.
We take in with every breath the air and think So and if we breathe out the breath tells Ham. We listen to the breath and by that get aware that the universal sound is OM, because the So and the Ham together at night in our inner awareness when constantly awake it is present in the sound of OM. It is the basic sound of the universe, thus we can understand that every being is breathing and therefore, there is only one sound and that is OM or ‘I am that’.
If we listen to that sound and we listen to Baba’s words and follow the insights and relate it to what he tells us when he is in our heart as the man who is in our heart to awake us, it is alternating between listening to his words and the exchange with him in the heart, by that we get into the teaching and it grows in our own consciousness.
We have to listen, think it over and absorb. Spiritual work, Tapas is first discrimination, second seeing it in our own life and third we have to go on no matter what obstacles are there.
He is the doer, he is the knower. What does it tell us? It is beyond the mind and the body and we cannot understand it with our mind. In listening to his words and diving deep into the wisdom and the meaning in his words, (reading alone is not enough) we have to think it over to be able to absorb … we will get the answer of divinity in the heart, we will hear it, feel it, see it.
And following it no matter what obstacles are there, we get to the insight, ‘I am the One’.
Only when he confirms our spiritual effort or Sadhana, our spiritual practice by his inner presence we know it is that. He tells us he is ‘that’, divinity and the universe, the universal being, we have to recognize in our own self and realize, ‘I am that’ as well.
Only if it is confirmed by He in the inner awareness, in the insight in our dream, only then it is really done. He is the doer, and we have to follow him by listening to his words and we should dive deep into the meaning of it to be able to hear it.
Writing is a great tool. Who is writing is thinking it over and we had a guest speaker not long ago in our center, guest is God, and it was great joy to listen to him and he told us, write, write as much as you can. And I was surprised, because he said to us, go and write, write to get into that inner contact with Baba. That is just what we are doing here.
It is the same in a study circle, we read the text, Baba’s words, we listen to it and we tell everybody in the circle what we think about it and how we can see it in our own life and that is how we get absorbed and get a feeling for it and he will answer it again in the inner view by his presence in the heart or we get a dream and feel his presence.
More study circle we have, more we can get absorbed and expand our own awareness into that great wisdom of self-realization which is the aim of his teaching.
As Baba said, know that you are God and be free.
